OK, I´m back.
Things are great here in Santa Fe, Argentina. I have photos to show you all but I don´t have a way to put them on here yet. So, hang in there! It will be worth it.

We are now in Las Parejas, a town of 13,000 people. Jamie and I are staying with a great family on the outskirts of town. Alicia is mom and is an OB doctor and her husband is a surgeon. He is away this week so we won´t get to meet him. They have 4 boys and a girl. They also have a famiy friend they have "adopted" who is 20. Her name is Rebecca. Jamie, Karen, Rebecca, her friend and I went out last night to a club. We had to go back to Canada de Gomez, where the nearest nightclub is. We went after dinner, which doesn´t sound so bad, except dinner here starts about 10 or 10:30. We got to the nightclub at 2:45.

Alicia drove us and we took a cab home. It was a blast. It was a typical danceclub situation, loud, crowded and fun.

We got back into town and dropped Karen off at her host'´house. The driveway to Alicia's house is about 70 yards long. The taxi wouldn't drive up to the house because it was so muddy he was afraid of getting stuck. So, in the cold rain, Rebecca, Jamie and I trudged in the mud up to the house. Our shoes were covered in mud. I was wearing sandles and had taken them off and so my feet were a mess. There was mud everywhere! It was hilarious. When I finally fell into bed, it was 6:30 a.m. This is typical here.
Luckily we didn´t have to get up until late. I got up at noon.

I´m really enjoying myself. The days are not cram-packed with a million things to do. They give us lots of time to relax and spend time with our families.

If my writing sounds wierd it is because I am losing my English. But I am not gaining Spanish at the same rate! Soon I will be without any language at all!
